From Auditor to Architect
I’ve been working in accounting since 1997, but it wasn’t until 2001 — as a Senior Auditor with the City of New Orleans — that I truly found my calling. I led sales and use tax compliance audits, worked closely with business owners, and guided them through complex financial and regulatory issues.
What I saw consistently:
Brilliant business owners buried in confusion and chaos.

That’s when I knew I didn’t just want to balance books.
I wanted to build the backbone of business.
Why I Started This Firm
Too many business owners are trying to grow from financial records they cannot trust. Their books may be behind, inaccurate, unreconciled, or unclear — yet they are still expected to make decisions, plan for growth, and understand their numbers.
I started Bartee Accounting Services & Integrated Corporate Solutions to help business owners correct the financial foundation first. My work focuses on identifying what is broken, cleaning up what is inaccurate, and restoring the structure needed for reliable accounting and stronger financial decisions.

What Drives Me
My work is rooted in structure, accountability, and long-term stability. As a mother, sister, and business owner, I understand the pressure of building something that has to support more than the person running it.

That perspective shapes how I serve my clients. I do not believe in quick fixes or surface-level accounting. I believe in doing the work correctly, documenting the process, and restoring the financial clarity needed to move forward with confidence.
Beyond the Numbers
Outside of accounting, I enjoy creating herbal tea blends and studying natural wellness. It is one of the ways I recharge, stay grounded, and bring intention into my work.
